Poured Syrup

Seriously, fuck the Philippine Government! I don't understand why they are not able to function properly. I really don't. Their consistent incompetence is just beyond me! Can somebody please explain to me why it is so hard for them to fix whatever shit they need to fix on their system, or fire the lazy-ass, corrupt people working in their offices. So here's the thing: I web-searched for an easy way to get my NBI clearance form, since I need a new one for my new job. I read that the nearest NBI clearance center to me--which is at Robinson's Metro East--is just inexplicably stressful. The line starts at 1AM (seriously wtf is up with this 1AM shit?!), and the center opens at around 8AM. I've also read that the people working in their work way too slow so it would take some of these people a heck of a long time just to get this piece of paper. An hour advance in posting to make up for not being able to post last Thursday (for Things I Love Thursdays). I mentioned in this post that I would do two weekly posts so I wouldn't have such a hard time thinking of a topic in case nothing worth blogging about happens to me. I wasn't able to post my first Music Mondays entry last week so I'm gonna do one now: Anino by Up Dharma Down. And here is a link of a reblogged audio post from my tumblr account, just in case. It's the new unreleased track of my favorite local band: Up Dharma Down. The band have always been my most loved from the local music scene. Their songs are timeless and 2, 3 or 4 years from now, I am pretty sure that people would still want to listen to their songs--and that most definitely includes me.

I'd have to admit that I'm not a big fan of the local entertainment scene. They're not really my cup of tea. I would much prefer anything Hollywood, as most of other Filipinos. But Rodolfo Quizon Sr., or most commonly known as Dolphy is different. I haven't watched all his movies since most of them are dated back way before I was even born, but those that I have watched made me laugh, made me cry and made me feel so many things. He is good at what he does, and better at making people laugh, hence being dubbed as the Philippines Entertainment's King of Comedy. It is of no surprise too since most of his films and TV shows are of the comedic genre.
