Seriously, fuck the Philippine Government!
I don't understand why they are not able to function properly. I really don't. Their consistent incompetence is just beyond me! Can somebody please explain to me why it is so hard for them to fix whatever shit they need to fix on their system, or fire the lazy-ass, corrupt people working in their offices.
So here's the thing: I web-searched for an easy way to get my NBI clearance form, since I need a new one for my new job. I read that the nearest NBI clearance center to me--which is at Robinson's Metro East--is just inexplicably stressful. The line starts at 1AM (seriously wtf is up with this 1AM shit?!), and the center opens at around 8AM. I've also read that the people working in their work way too slow so it would take some of these people a heck of a long time just to get this piece of paper.
What I don't understand is this: why don't they just open one (or more for the bigger cities like QC) NBI clearance center in every city, at least here in Metro Manila since more people live here. And the only people who could get a clearance or renew their clearance in that certain center are those that actually live in the city where it's located. That way, other people wouldn't add to the queue and it would be much easier. And if the government would complain about this suggestion, saying that they don't have the budget for it and yadah yadah. Well, based on experience, an NBI clearance center has at least 3 or 4 working computers and 1 or 2 printer(s) and this other device for the NBI ID. How the fucking much would a desktop computer cost nowadays? You could probably get one for 30,000 and I suppose that's not too much considering the budget given to a national department of the government like NBI.
Going back, I researched for the easiest way and I stumbled upon the e-Clearance that the NBI just set-up late last year. After reading a lot of blogs regarding this e-Clearance, claiming it only took these people less than 30 minutes to get their clearance, I was instantly convinced. All you have to do is pay through G-Cash and then register online, book your appointment via text and voila! You could now go to the NBI Building in UN Ave and claim your clearance form. Now my problem is, I already paid through G-Cash and was trying to register at their online registration shit (https://nbi-online.com/login), but it keep giving me this error message saying that I should double check if I mistyped something blah blah, but I've refreshed and re-typed the whole thing a million times already, but it still gives me the same error message that says, "Please make sure you have not mistyped your reference number and payment date/mobile no."
It's completely, insanely frustrating! After refreshing and retyping, I decided to just call NBI to complain. They asked for my information and blaaah, and the guy I talked to said that he's gonna get back to me within the day. The government offices close at 5PM, so I don't know how he's gonna be able to get back to me now. Unless he actually walked another mile and text me himself, but I highly doubt that.
I tried registering again, but it's still giving me the same fucked-up error message. This is what makes me hate the government so much more. Their systems are a complete bitch, some of the people working there are such pain the ass and the government all in all is just incredibly frustrating and disappointing! They keep on boasting the new buildings they've put up, or the newly renovated roads, or the fact that we're already the ones lending the money instead of the usual other way around, but they can't even do anything about this simple thing that affects millions of Filipinos!
The Philippine government needs to fucking put theirselves together and improve their shit!
